El CLARIPHONE es un instrumento de viento de caña simple, inventado y fabricado por SANS LUTHIER, es una evolución del Chalumeau sin llaves, en el que se modifica la digitación, aumentando la gama del instrumento a mas de dos octavas i media, del Si -1 al sol 2, inspirada en la Ciaramella Italiana i el Flabiol Catalán, añadiendo un agujero practicable con el dedo pequeño de la mano izquierda. Es un instrumento intuitivo y resolutivo, compuesto por un cuerpo de madera y boquilla de clarinete.
Este instrumento tiene un sonido suave y calido, se dirige a los músicos que tocan instrumentos de viento, ESPECIALMENTE A LOS AMANTES DEL CLARINETE O SAXOFONE y a todos los curiosos que quieren descubrir este magnífico instrumento.
El CLARIPHONE, como el clarinete, es un instrumento de interior cilíndrico.
Tiene 33 cm de largo, 8 agujeros en la parte superior y uno en la parte inferior.
Está afinado en Do.
Incluye funda, boquilla y grasa para corcho.
