The GRALLA is a traditional tiple oboe with powerfull sound volume, best for stree music. Very popular for Folk and Medieval Music styles. Used in the region of Catalonia, Balear Islands, Valencia (here it is calles Xirimita) and part of French territories. Standard tuning is G, 400 Hz or 415 Hz. Made from oak, almond, bubinga, boxwood, olive, blackwood or jujube, as subject to availability.
La GRALLA DULCE pertenece a la familia de los oboes tiples (instrumentos de interior cónico). La diferencia básica entre una gralla dulce y una gralla seca está en la longitud del instrumento (La gralla dulce es más largo). La gralla dulce sin llaves permite hacer la sensible de Sol (el Fa sostenido). Así mismo, se puede montar la gralla dulce con 2, 4, 5 o 7 llaves, además de la llave de octava.
Su tonalidad estándar es en SOL (LA 440 Hz o LA 415 Hz). Se toca con lengüeta de doble caña.
Fabricamos las grallas dulces mayoritariamente con maderas mediterraneas, según disponibilidad.
La DULZAINA es un oboe tiple que se utiliza en muchas fiestas tradicionales en las zonas de Catalunya, Aragon, Valencia, Baleares y Castilla. Cada zona tienen su preferida digitación e incluso la forma tradicional del instrumento.
